The Keizerstraat is one of the oldest shopping streets of Holland. The shopping street is located right in the historical heart of Scheveningen village. Walk to the end of the street and you’ll find yourself right on the beachof Scheveningen. The Keizerstreet has more than 100 shops  to suite your shopping needs. Don’t forget to have a drink in one of the local bars or on the terrace. In the Keizerstreet you can also still find some tradionational folklore.
At the end of the Keizerstraat you can still find the original church. This is the oldest monument in Scheveningen and originated from the 15th century. Next to the church the ‘fishing wife’statue still overlooks the ocean. She was placed there to remember all fishermen who never returned from their fishing trip.
