Scheveningen Boulevard

Renewed boulevard
The new Scheveningen boulevard south of the Kurhaus hotel was designed by Spanigh architect and urban designer Manuel de Solà-Morales. The new boulevard follows the undulating course of the old dunes and has different height levels that separate pedestrians, cyclists and motorists. The differences in height, beautiful materials, colours, street furniture and the position of the beach pavilions in compact clusters have transformed the boulevard into an attractive promenade.

Getting there
If you're planning to get here by car, once off the motorway, follow the signs Scheveningen Bad. There are a number of parking in the immediate vicinity of the boulevard, such as parking Kurhaus, parking Nieuwe Parklaan and by far the largest of all: parking Strand.

It's easy to reach on public transport. Different trams run from The Hague Central Station and The Hague Hollands Spoor towards Scheveningen, such as lines 1, 9 and 11.
