Scheveningen can be explored perfectly by bike, as most roads can not be accessed by car. From Scheveningen the beach of Kijkduin can be reached within 20 minutes by bike.
The bike rental shop in Scheveningen rents out bikes for half a day or full day. Here you can also get information about the several biking trails alongside the beach or forest. Worried about what to eat during the day? Take a picnic basket along!
For adventurous young people and adults there is a lot to do in Scheveningen. Scheveningen is known for all different kinds of water sports, espescialy in summer there are various sporting activities to do.
You can rent jet skis, race in a rib boat, go over the water on a banana, power kiting on the beach and ziplining from the Pier. Fun to do together with your friends, to entertain the kids in the summer or to make a family weekend memorable.
The harbor also has a nice yacht club where sailors come together for a drink. As soon as the wind starts picking up the harbor becomes alive. By car, bike or foot sailors are getting as quickly as possible to the beach.
